Canyon Black Half-Round Hearth Rug is super-sized at 72"+36." These half-round hearth rugs are made of synthetic fibers, which perform similar to nylon but have slightly lower melt temperatures. These rugs meet the CPSC standard FF 1-70 for flammability of carpets. Rug will not continue to support combustion once the ignition source has cooled or been removed. The ember that pops out may char a spot on this hearth rug, but the rug will not burn; it will protect the underlying surface.
