Item Description
Skyjacker Softride Hydro Shocks feature Hydraulic action, multi-stage velocity sensitive valving, 5/8 diameter hardened double chrome rod, internal rebound bumper, oversize piston head, tough polyurethane bushings, variable resistance, and expanded fluid reservoir to help maintain consistent performance with less foaming and heavy-duty twin tube construction. Softride Hydro Shocks are covered with a heavy mileage white paint that provides a minimum 240-salt protection. This is the shock that we recommend with most of our kits. It gives a great street ride, but is still firm enough for most off-roading. Shocks include red polyurethane bushings and a red boot. Can be used front or rear. Note: These shocks are for suspension lift kits only. Shocks will not life vehicle. Applications: 1982-86 CJ as a rear shock with no lift, 1955-75 CJ as a front or rear shock with 2" lift, 1976-86 CJ as a rear shock with 2" lift, 1976-86 CJ as a front shock with 4" lift, 1987-95 YJ as a rear shock with 2" lift and 1999-02 WJ as a rear shock with 2" lift. *Shocks are sold individually.
