4G Connect Pro 2G/3G/4G Dual Antenna

4G Connect is a new 2G/3G/4G (LTE) internet access solution for use afloat.  It utilises the latest MIMO technology with dual antennas for fast, long range access and incorporates a full function wifi router so multiple devices can connect wirelessly.  There is also a wired LAN port and WAN port – for connection to high power wifi devices or satellite modems.

The Pro model ships with two external hi gain antennas for exceptional long range performance and is the recommended solution for use afloat.

4G Connect has an easy to use interface. It is SIM unlocked so users are free to use any cellular provider they choose.

Operation is simple – turn on, connect to the password protected wifi hotspot that 4G Connect creates and your device is online.  Digital Yacht’s WL510 high power wifi solution can also be connected to the WAN port for a choice between hotspot wifi and 4G connectivity.  iKommunicate can also connect to the LAN port providing boat NMEA data on the wifi network for use with navigation apps.

Digital Yacht's 4G Xtream is the latest, premium LTE (cellular) Internet access product. It ships as a complete package with dual external antennas, deck mounting hardware, and cabling. Alternative antenna mounts are available as options.

Using MIMO technology and two external wideband LTE antennas, it offers fast connectivity at up to 300 MBs (network dependent). AISnode NMEA 2000 Boat AIS Class B Receiver

AISnode is the first AIS Receiver to be designed exclusively for NMEA 2000. With a single, integral 0.75m NMEA 2000 cable that takes power from the network and outputs the AIS data on to the network, the AISnode is incredibly easy to install. Just find or fit a spare NMEA 2000 "T Piece", screw the AISnode cable to the connection, connect a VHF antenna and the installation is complete. 

Utilizing the same high performance, true dual channel receiver that our latest Class B Transponders have, AISnode will receive every AIS equipped vessel within VHF range and never miss or drop a single target. Designed specifically to bring the benefits of Class B AIS to smaller vessels, it uses a high sensitivity internal GPS antenna to save on space and cut down on installation time. Simply connect to power and a plotter, plug in a VHF antenna and you're in business.

The regulations for AIS demand that the Class B transponder has to incorporate itsown GPS positioning receiver which normally involves fitting an external antenna. TheAIT1500 incorporates a high sensitivity GPS antenna within its compact case whichsaves on antenna clutter and makes for a speedy installation. It's ideal for fitting onsmaller vessels and tenders. It uses a NMEA0183 interface for simple connectionto the vast majority of AIS compatible chart plotters and also has a separate 4800baud GPS data output for the DSC VHF if required. It consumes less that 2W powerand can operate on 12/24V systems. It also features a silence capability so the AIStransmissions can be muted while continuing to receive AIS traffic.

The AIT1500N2K is a Class B AIS transponder with built in GPS antenna to make installation as easy as possible. The super sensitive design allows below deck mounting on GRP boats such as small yachts, RIBs and center consoles and cuts down on antenna clutter. The AIT2000 uses the latest AIS Transponder technology to squeeze more performance and interfacing options in to a housing that is half the size of our previous generation transponder.

This ultra-compact Class B Transponder has three outputs; NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000 and USB connection, allowing it to work with every AIS compatible chart plotter or software package on the market today. Featuring a remote silence button option, two NMEA 0183 Inputs and Outputs, four status LEDs and rugged vibration-proof mounting brackets, the AIT2000 is the third generation of Digital Yacht AIS transponder and replaces the very popular AIT1000.

Configuration of your vessel's fixed data, such as MMSI, call sign, boat name, dimensions etc. is made easy with the included Windows and Mac compatible proAIS2 software. Class B+, a standard, utilizes SOTDMA format transmissions which offer a 5W power output (2.5x more powerful than a regular Class B), a guaranteed time slot for transmission in busy traffic areas and faster update rates depending upon the speed of the vessel. It’s ideal for ocean sailors requiring the best possible performance and future proof satellite tracking applications, fast power boats and smaller non-mandated commercial vessels. It still inter-operates with existing Class B and Class A systems.

The AIT2500 is a full function SOTDMA AIS transponder with NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000 and USB data outputs. It is supplied with a GPS antenna and requires connection to a VHF antenna or suitable VHF-AIS antenna splitter.

It is ideal for ocean sailors requiring the best possible performance and future proof satellite tracking applications, fast power boats and smaller non-mandated commercial vessels.

BM100 Battery Monitoring Solution

The BM100 is a complete system comprising SmartShunt and the veKonvert NMEA 2000 interface. It is part of Digital Yacht’s iSeaSense range of NMEA 2000 boat instruments. With this solution, your multi-function display becomes a sophisticated battery and energy management system.

Features

Digital Yacht’s BM100 battery monitoring system allows highly accurate DC voltage, current, and capacity measurements, enabling reliable monitoring of your boat’s battery and electrical system.

Core to the system is the SmartShunt. It measures battery voltage and current. Based on these measurements, it intelligently calculates the battery’s state of charge and the time to depletion for the remaining charge. It also keeps track of historical data, such as the deepest discharge and average discharge current, as well as the number of charge and discharge cycles. The smart shunt can also monitor the voltage of a 2nd battery, typically dedicated to engine starting.

The product is a collaboration between Victron Energy and Digital Yacht. The system utilizes Victron’s proprietary VE.Direct data connectivity as a source for the NMEA 2000 data.

The BM100 is part of a wider group of products now introduced by Digital Yacht that bring NMEA 2000 connectivity to Victron systems using the VE.Direct interface.

Victron solar panel controllers (MPPTs) and battery monitors can now also interconnect to NMEA 2000 via the veKonvert interface.

Monitoring the battery with the BM100 will give important feedback to the user so that remedial measures can be taken when necessary. Doing this will extend battery life. There’s also an optional battery temperature sensor available.

The BM100 can also integrate with Digital Yacht’s other NMEA 2000 and wireless instruments, which offer hybrid NMEA 2000 and wireless display options.

NMEA 2000 Interface

The system features an NMEA 2000 interface, so your navigation multi-function display or plotter can display all key parameters. Modern MFDs from leading manufacturers such as Garmin, Raymarine, Furuno, and Navico allow electrical battery data to be displayed via their NMEA 2000 interface. Alarms and alerts for low capacity and voltage can also be enabled.

Bluetooth Interface

The BM100 also has a standalone wireless Bluetooth interface, so your mobile phone or iPad can connect and display current, voltage, capacity, additional historical data, state of charge information, and time to go based on remaining battery capacity.

GPS160F with Furuno Format Data Output

The GPS160 series of sensors is a high-performance GPS designed for use with chart plotters

Digital Yacht has introduced a specific version of the GPS160 which is a simple replacement for older Furuno plotter and GPS systems.  Devices like the Furuno GP32, Navnet, and GPS310/320 utilize a specific format for GPS data and this sensor emulates that for easy compatibility.  Some of these older GPS sensors have suffered from technical issues with the GPS system rollover changes which can render chart plotter systems useless.  The GPS160F provides an economical and reliable solution to these problems.

In conjunction with Furuno UK, Digital Yacht has developed a special version of their popular GPS160 Smart GNSS Sensor “TriNav” that outputs the older NMEA 0183 sentences and data format that the legacy Furuno systems can read. Now if a Furuno customer has a problem with their existing Furuno GPS (GP310/GP320/GP32/etc.) they can use the GPS160F as a simple “drop-in” replacement for their failed positioning sensor.

The GPS160F has been tested with a wide variety of legacy Furuno products including; the original NavNet MFDs, NavNet VX2, M1735 Radar, GP7000, and the FCV family of sounders.
