The aFe Stage 2 cold air intake produces up to 18HP and up to 24 lbs. x ft. torque while outflowing the factory intake by up to 117%. This intake is a highly engineered heat-shielded air box with a one-piece intake tube. Handling filter duties is the PRO DRY S performance air filter that features 3-layers of progressively finer mesh synthetic "oil-free" media. The PRO DRY S filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. The heat-insulating, molded plastic intake tube is engineered for improved volumetric efficiency and maximum performance while lowering Intake Air Temps (I.A.T). Utilizing factory mounting points, this system provides a hassle free installation. This coupling is designed to meet modern elevated engine compartment temperatures with a 4-ply silicone reinforced configuration. A one-piece powder-coated heat-shield is used to keep the air intake charge cool and dense. A cone 360 degree round air filter is used for maximum filtration (99.2% efficient) and convenience (requires no oils to clean). The PRO DRY S performance air filter features 3-layers of progressively finer mesh synthetic "oil-free" media and is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. aFe has developed this intake to provide a hassle-free installation that utilizes all factory mounting locations. Using a serrated/helix design, this spacer creates turbulence in the air flow at the point just prior entry into the engine optimizing the combustion cycle. This turbulence helps the air/fuel charge burn completely providing increased horsepower, torque and improved throttle response. This spacer works with the OE and aFe Power cold air intake systems. The Serrated/Helix combination design creates intake turbulence in the combustion chamber. This turbulence breaks up the fuel which creates a more complete combustion cycle increasing horsepower, torque and improving throttle response. aFe Power is proud to introduce the all new "Glide Guard" On-Board Compressor & Tank Mount. The Glide Guard comes powder-coated in a matte black finish with counter-sunk compressor & tank mounting holes for protection. Once the required aFe left side exit exhaust system (SOLD SEPARATELY) is installed, the skid plate mounts neatly in the former factory muffler location tucking your air compressor and tank as high as possible (air compressor and tank not included). The Glide Guard is constructed out of 3/16" thick steel to withstand extreme off-road conditions. This system bolts in utilizing factory locations and an additional 4 drilled holes with heavy-duty nut plates for a hassle-free install. Notes:This Glide Guard Mount requires the installation of an aFe Hi-Tuck "RB" (Rock Basher) exhaust system (P/N: 49-08040/41 or 49-46231/32). It does NOT fit with the factory exhaust system. These systems relocate the muffler to a forward position, where it is less vulnerable to off road damage and add additional power & performance to your Jeep.While the Glide Guard is designed to fit with most aftermarket suspensions, some aftermarket rear suspension systems (ie; coil-over conversion) and /or sway bar setups may interfere with fitment.

A urethane plug is also included for those cold weather applications where you want to block the auxiliary air scoop. A large, clear sight window is used for a hassle-free filter inspection and an aggressive style. Huge 5-Layer Performance Air Filter: The Momentum GT is designed around a pre-oiled, large 9" round 360 degree radial flow performance air filter with 5-layers of progressive finer mesh cotton media providing maximum airflow and performance. The unique air filter to housing interface (patent pending) allows for maximum filter size which increases the available air volume while simplifying the installation process. Premium Hardware: Premium stainless steel T-bolt clamps and a urethane hump coupler are used for strength and durability while also providing the most secure installation available. Momentum HD intakes are designed with fewer parts for a quick and simple installation. Note: This intake system is not CARB exempt at this time and is not legal for sale in California or use on vehicles registered with the California Department of Motor Vehicles.
